You get what you pay for. Good budget TV, but is let down by the appallingly lame EPG. The 'guide' gives you only info on the next couple of shows on the channel you are on. If you want to see what's on another channel you have to switch to it. There are many other faults with the EPG, but if you have another freeview box/Sky etc none of this is an issue. Would suggest some speakers too, as the sound's not the best........
Value for money

For the price a great tv but you are not buying a high end product. Build quality is robust but at the same time the chassis is quite light and easily wall mountable using standard size fittings. Picture quality is good and multiple inputs available but resolution only up to 720. Only 2 negatives in my view are the fact that there is no on off switch so has to stay in standby and secondly the tv guide is cumbersome and dated. Other than that if you are not expecting an all singing and dancing tv it's very good value for money..
Good television -- no real complaints

Good television at great value. It does exactly what you'd expect a television to do and it's really easy to set up.

My only small gripe is that when browsing the tv guide, you are unable to continue watching the channel you are on. Every time you go to another channel on the guide, the television changes to that channel.

No problems so far.
un-beatable quality for a great price.

Having bought High-end tellies in the past, I did a fair bit of research on the web before making a decision, the Toshiba price is one of the lowest for a quality make, the picture is as good,if not better than the Sony it has replaced, freeview picture and reception is definately better! sky HD picture and sound are improved,set-up always causes me concern, the Toshiba could not be easier! set up and running within 15 mins from un-packing!, the remote is a bit flimsy, but works well, all in all I am Very happy with it,(just bought the 26" version for the bedroom) Amazon service, great as usual,
The World Cup has just got better, thanks to toshiba

Toshiba Regza 32' is excellent quality and stylish, lots of connections on the back for dvd and PS2 etc.
settings allow you to change the picture view for best viewing widescreen or closed in.
its a delight to play games on too.

Design fault or just unlucky?

Reviewer: nicolocin,
I bought this TV after reading the excellent reviews on Amazon. It was a piece of cake to set up, auto-scanned the available digital and analogue channels. Picture was good, sound was good, plenty of connectors at the back. Then, within two days, a problem. When switching on from standby using the remote, no sound. You had to switch off and on at the side to get the sound back.

After consultimg the technicians, I returned the TV for a replacement. The second TV seemed to be OK at first, then, after 3 months, the identical problem I had with the first TV occurred. This time I persevered, returned the TV to factory settings, fiddled with all the TV settings. The sound problem went away. But then another fault appeared - you couldn't switch the TV on from standby using the remote. Once again, the only remedy was physically switching the TV off and then on again. The TV would then be OK for a while, before the whole thing started over.

Was it coincidence? A bad batch? My gut feeling is that there is a design problem here, because the two faults - on two different TVs - are so similar in nature.

The second TV is now being returned for a refund, and I'll be looking at an alternative TV. I can't give stars for it, but once again Amazon's customer service was impeccable.

Very pleased, a great telly for the price. Clear picture with only a little bluring on very fast movement.
